Members of the AAA are busy preparing for National Alpaca Week 2013. National Alpaca Week (NAW) was launched in 2009 as an annual coordinated educational activity. NAW offers the general public and potential future alpaca owners the opportunity to visit a local farm and learn more about these endearing creatures. Details of participating farms can be found on our National Alpaca Week Site.

What a busy alpaca year. All the show season and shearing has been done and dusted. Many have finished their cria program whilst some are still waiting 12months. For that cria to safely be born a very stressful time!

Much is happening at the AAA office it is pleasing to see the new web page taking on a different updated look. (see page 27) The online showing system is also having an update, convenors will be most pleased to have this finished ready for the 2013 showing season.
